# Kundaly

> Vedic and Western astrology, computed for the minute you were born. The unseen map of your life. A light for your reflection — never a verdict.

Kundaly is an astrology web app. From a person's birth date, time and place it computes their Vedic (sidereal)
and Western (tropical) charts and explains them in plain language. Every reading names the school it comes from and
shows its reasoning. Readings are for reflection: the app never predicts a death, a diagnosis or a financial outcome.
It is operated by KUBIT SYSTEMS LIMITED, registered in England and Wales.

## Schools it computes
- Parāśara (classical BPHS): the yogas, house-lords and the running Vimśottarī daśā — the spine of the app's timing
- Jaimini: the Chara kārakas, Kārakāṁśa and rāśi-daśā
- Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP): cuspal sub-lords, significators and ruling planets
- Bhṛgu Nandi Nāḍī: the kārakas, their sign links and Jupiter's and Saturn's transits over them, read without the ascendant — terse, event-focused
- Lal Kitab: the pakkā ghar, blind/asleep planets, the debts (ṛṇa) and earthy remedies
- Nāḍī: the D-150 nāḍī-aṁśa seed and its sixteen secrets, the rāśi- and navāṁśa-tulya readings, the five-element birth reckoning and the Nāḍī family relations — a method apart from Bhṛgu Nandi Nāḍī
- Tājika (annual): the solar-return year chart — Muntha, year-lord, Sahams and Tājika yogas
- Modern Vedic: the outer grahas and five alternate sign co-lords, and later techniques no classical text holds — each named as modern, never the timing
- Western (modern tropical): the Sun/Moon/Rising, aspects and patterns, and current transits — psychological
- Hellenistic (ancient Western): sect, the essential dignities, the planets' joys, whole-sign houses and the annual profection (this year's time-lord)
- Muhūrta & Pañcāṅga: the day's five limbs, tārā and chandra bala and the auspicious windows — the electional and almanac tradition
- Chinese Four Pillars (BaZi): the Day Master and the balance of the five elements across the four pillars
- Numerology (Aṅka Jyotiṣa): the numbers of a name and a birth date
- Vāstu Śāstra: the directions and spaces of a home or workplace
- Sāmudrika (palm and face): the hands and the face — a traditional lore, a reflection and never a verdict on a person
- Svapna Śāstra (dreams): what a dream signifies in the tradition
- Tarot: a card spread as a mirror for the moment

## Monthly forecasts (renewed on the 1st)
- [Monthly forecasts by birth star and ascendant](https://kundaly.com/forecast/): the month's transits read three ways — the houses
from the ascendant, the classical view from the Moon sign (Phaladīpikā ch. 26), and each planet's tārā from the birth
star. Sidereal (Lahiri), mean node, times in IST.
