Terms for the Kundaly Connector
Last updated: 9 October 2026 · Version 1.1
The Kundaly connector lets an AI assistant, such as a chatbot you already use, ask Kundaly for astrology calculations and readings on your behalf. These terms explain how that works and what each of us is responsible for. They are provided by KUBIT SYSTEMS LIMITED, the company that runs Kundaly.
These terms add to our Terms of Service, which also apply whenever you use the connector. Where the two differ, these terms apply to your use of the connector. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, and our Refund and Cancellation Policy covers any credits you spend.
The short version
- The connector gives your AI assistant computed astrology from Kundaly: your birth star, Moon sign and ascendant, monthly forecasts, the panchang and festival dates. If you link your account, it can also list your charts and ask the Guru, using your own credits.
- Everything it gives is for reflection, self-exploration, cultural interest and entertainment. It is never medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it never predicts the time of anyone's death.
- Your assistant is made by another company. What you type into it, and how it uses or rewords our answers, is governed by that company's own terms and privacy policy.
- If you link your account, you choose what the assistant may do, and you can remove it at any time in the app.
- If you build or run software that uses the connector, section 7 applies to you. In short: use it to answer people's own questions, not to copy, resell or train AI models on what it returns.
1. What the connector is
Kundaly offers two connector addresses for AI assistants, using the Model Context Protocol:
https://kundaly.com/mcp: no account needed. It can work out a birth star, Moon sign and ascendant from birth details, give a month's forecast for a birth star and ascendant, give the panchang for a day, and list the festivals ahead.https://kundaly.com/mcp/account: the same, plus your own Kundaly account once you link it (section 5). It can list your saved charts and credit balance, read the month for one of your charts, and ask the Guru, Kundaly's astrologer, a question about a chart.
The readings are general. A forecast for a birth star and ascendant is the same for everyone who shares them. The personal reading of your whole chart is in the Kundaly app.
2. Your assistant is not Kundaly
Your AI assistant is a product of another company, not of KUBIT SYSTEMS LIMITED. That company decides when to call the connector, what to send it, and how to present what comes back. It may summarise, reword, shorten or add to our answers, and it may make mistakes in doing so.
We ask every assistant to keep our answers framed for reflection, to keep the school and source they name, and to show you the link to the full reading. But we cannot control another company's product, and we are not responsible for what it adds to, leaves out of, or changes in our answers. Where it matters, check the reading in the Kundaly app or on our website.
What you type into your assistant, and what it keeps, is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Read them.
3. What the readings are
Section 2 of our Terms of Service applies in full to everything the connector returns. In particular:
- The readings are for reflection, self-exploration, cultural interest and entertainment. They are not a science, and they do not predict facts.
- They are never medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Kundaly never predicts the time of anyone's death and never tells you to buy or sell anything.
- Please don't make important decisions about your health, money, relationships or safety because of a reading.
4. Using the connector without an account
- Your birth details. When you ask your assistant for your birth star, it sends us your birth date, place and (if you give it) time. We use them to work out the answer and do not store them. To find the place's coordinates, we send only the place name — nothing that identifies you — to OpenStreetMap's place-search service. We may keep the place name and its coordinates to answer the same place faster next time, without anything that links them to you.
- Limits. The free connector has limits on how often it can be used, so that it stays available to everyone. When a limit is reached, the connector says so.
- No guarantee of availability. The free connector is offered as it is. We may change, limit or withdraw any part of it at any time.
5. Linking your Kundaly account
- How you link it. When your assistant asks to use your Kundaly account, we show you a Kundaly page that says which assistant is asking and what it will be able to do. You sign in to Kundaly there yourself. Your assistant never sees your sign-in details. You must have a Kundaly account (not a guest visit), and you must be 18 or over, as our Terms of Service require.
- What a linked assistant can do. Only what you allowed on that page: see the charts you have saved and your credit balance, and, if you allowed it, ask the Guru about your charts.
- What it cannot do. It cannot see your conversations in the Kundaly app, change your account or your details, or buy credits.
- Questions to the Guru. Each answer the Guru gives through the connector costs the same credits as in the app, taken from your own balance. If no answer is delivered, the credits are returned automatically. The question and the answer are kept in your Kundaly chat history, as they would be in the app. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to credits spent this way.
- You are responsible for your linked assistant. What a linked assistant does with your account counts as done by you, in the same way as section 4 of our Terms of Service — unless it happened because of a failure in our security, or through access you did not give and could not reasonably have prevented. Only link assistants and devices you trust, and remove one at once if you think it is being misused.
- Removing it. You can remove a linked assistant at any time in the Kundaly app, under Data & privacy → Connected assistants. It loses access at once. Access also ends on its own if it isn't used for 90 days, if you delete your account, or if we see signs that the connection has been misused (we may end it to protect you).
6. Using Kundaly's answers
The answers the connector gives you are for your own private, non-commercial use, as section 11 of our Terms of Service sets out. The software, the calculations, the way readings are written and put together, and the classical sources we have prepared belong to us or our licensors.
7. If you build or run software that uses the connector
This section applies to any business or person who builds, runs or distributes software that calls the connector (for example an AI assistant, an agent, an app or a directory listing). It applies in addition to the rest of these terms.
What you may do. Let a person use the connector to get readings for themselves, within a conversation they are having, and show them our answers.
What you must not do (and must not help or allow anyone else to do):
- retrieve readings in bulk or systematically, for example to collect every combination of birth star and ascendant, or the panchang for every day;
- store, republish, resell, sublicense or redistribute what the connector returns, beyond showing it to the person who asked, within their conversation;
- use what the connector returns to train, fine-tune, evaluate or improve any AI model or dataset, or to build a product or service that competes with Kundaly;
- remove or obscure the attribution to Kundaly, the link to the full reading, or the framing for reflection that our answers carry;
- present our answers as your own work, or as predictions of death, illness, lifespan or financial outcomes, or as certain;
- get around the connector's limits, sign-in or permissions, use more than one identity to multiply limits, or use a person's linked account for anything they did not ask for;
- collect birth details or other personal data through the connector for any purpose other than answering that person's question;
- imply that we endorse, partner with or are affiliated with you, or use the Kundaly name or logo except to say truthfully that your software can connect to Kundaly.
Our controls. We may limit, suspend or block any software, registration, address or account that we reasonably believe breaks this section or puts the service or its users at risk, without notice where necessary. We may change the connector, its tools and its limits at any time. Where we can, we will describe changes in our documentation before they take effect.
8. Changes to the connector and to these terms
We may change or stop the connector, and we may update these terms. If we make an important change that affects you, we will update the date and version at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app before it takes effect. If you don't agree with a change, stop using the connector and remove any linked assistants. Section 12 of our Terms of Service also applies.
9. Your personal data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. For the connector, in short:
- Free tools: the details your assistant sends are used to answer and are not stored (section 4).
- Linked accounts: we keep a record of which assistants you have linked, what you allowed, and when they were last used, so we can show them to you and let you remove them. We keep the sign-in tokens only in a form that can't be turned back into the token. The Guru's questions and answers are kept in your chat history (section 5).
- Limits: we use the network address a request comes from to apply usage limits.
- Your assistant's company decides what it keeps of your conversation (section 2).
10. Our responsibility
- To you as a consumer, section 14 of our Terms of Service applies, including everything it says we never exclude. Nothing in these terms reduces your rights as a consumer.
- To a business or developer under section 7: the connector is provided as it is and as available, without any promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for your particular purpose. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, or for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for all claims relating to the connector is limited to £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
- Your responsibility under section 7: if you break section 7 and someone brings a claim against us because of it, you are responsible for the loss that this reasonably causes us, as far as the law allows.
11. Law, courts and contact
Section 18 of our Terms of Service applies: these terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and consumers keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country they live in.
