Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026 · Version 1.0
This policy explains how to cancel a Kundaly plan, what happens to your credits, and when you can get your money back. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Kundaly is operated by KUBIT SYSTEMS LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 17477285), whose registered office is at 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom ("we", "us").
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer. If the law where you live gives you more, you get more.
1. Who you are buying from
- Purchases through Paddle (cards and digital wallets). Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for these orders: Paddle sells the plan or credit pack to you, takes your payment, issues your receipt and handles refunds and returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply to these purchases alongside this policy, and Paddle handles all billing questions about them.
- Payments in Indian rupees through Razorpay. Where you pay us in rupees through Razorpay, you buy directly from KUBIT SYSTEMS LIMITED and we handle refunds ourselves.
Your receipt or payment confirmation shows which one applies.
2. What you can buy
- Plans (Premium and Practitioner) unlock features for a period, monthly or yearly. A plan bought through Paddle is a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel it. A plan paid for with a one-off rupee payment lasts for the period you paid for and does not renew.
- Credit packs add credits to your account. Credits pay for individual actions in Kundaly, and the price of each action is shown before you use it.
3. Cancelling a subscription
- You can cancel at any time. Cancel through the link in your Paddle receipt email, at paddle.net, or by asking us at [support email] and we will cancel it for you.
- When it takes effect. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. It does not renew again, and you are not charged again.
- Before a renewal. Where the law requires it — in the UK, for yearly plans and free trials from January 2027 — you will be reminded before you are charged, so you can cancel in time.
- Price changes. We will tell you at least 30 days before a price rise applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
4. Your right to change your mind (14 days)
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, the European Union / EEA or Switzerland, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of buying:
- Subscriptions: you may cancel within 14 days of your first payment and receive a refund. If you are in the UK, you may also cancel within 14 days of each yearly renewal payment and receive a refund.
- Credit packs: you may cancel within 14 days of buying a pack and receive a refund if you have not used any credits since you bought it. When you use credits, you ask us to supply digital content straight away, and you agree that your right to cancel ends for that pack once you do. We remind you of this when you buy.
To use this right, follow the steps in section 7. You do not have to give a reason.
5. Other refunds
Outside the 14-day right, payments are not refundable, except:
- Something went wrong on our side. If you were charged twice, charged for something you didn't receive, or a technical fault on our side stopped you using what you paid for, tell us and we will put it right: a refund, or credits back, whichever fits.
- A paid action that fails. If an action you paid for in credits fails, for example a reading that could not be produced, the credits return to your account automatically. Your activity statement in the app shows each return.
- Faulty or not as described. If you are a UK consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 gives you rights when digital content or a service is faulty or not as described. That includes a repair, a replacement or a price reduction, and in some cases a refund. Consumers elsewhere have similar rights under their own laws. This policy never limits them.
- At our discretion. We may refund in other cases, for example an accidental purchase you have not used, without that becoming a promise for the future.
6. Credits: expiry, cash and closure
- Purchased credits do not expire while your account and Kundaly remain open. Any free monthly allowance is used before purchased credits and does not carry over to the next month.
- Credits are not money. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be transferred to another person and are not a wallet, deposit or stored-value product. They can only be used for Kundaly's own features.
- If you delete your account, your credits are deleted with it and cannot be restored or refunded afterwards. If you are within your 14-day right for a pack, ask for your refund before deleting.
- If we close Kundaly or stop a paid feature for good, we will give you at least 30 days' notice. We will refund unused purchased credits and the unused part of any plan you paid for in advance, or offer you an equivalent alternative if you prefer one.
7. How to ask for a refund
- Bought through Paddle: use the link in your Paddle receipt email, or visit paddle.net and look up your order. Paddle processes refunds to your original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval.
- Paid in rupees through Razorpay: email [support email] with the email address or phone number on your account and your payment reference. We acknowledge your request within 48 hours and give you our decision within 14 days. An approved refund goes back to your original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take a further 5–10 working days to show it.
8. Consultations with astrologers
Where Kundaly offers bookings with independent astrologers, each booking shows its own cancellation terms before you pay. If the astrologer cancels or does not attend, you receive a full refund. Consultations are never sold through Paddle.
9. Payment disputes
Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank or card issuer. Most problems are quicker to fix directly. While a dispute is open, we may pause the paid features linked to that payment. Nothing here limits your right to raise a dispute.
