Real Vedic astrology inside your assistant
Ask an AI assistant for your nakshatra and it may guess. Add Kundaly and it computes it — the birth star, the month's transits, today's panchang and the festivals ahead — from the same engine as the Kundaly app. Free, and no account needed.
Add it
The connector's address is https://kundaly.com/mcp — a remote MCP server (streamable HTTP).
Claude
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, name it Kundaly, and paste https://kundaly.com/mcp. Then ask a question like the ones below.

Find a birth star
find_birth_star — From a birth date, place and (if known) time: the birth star (nakshatra) and its pada, its lord, the Moon sign and the ascendant — with a note when the ascendant changes within ten minutes, or the Moon changed star that day.
Monthly forecast
monthly_forecast — This month's or next month's transits for one birth star and ascendant: the key moves, the houses they cross, the classical reading from the Moon (Phaladīpikā, cited by verse) and each planet's tārā, with a link to the full page.
Today's panchang
panchang — The Hindu almanac for a day at New Delhi: the five limbs (vāra, tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karaṇa), sunrise and sunset, Rahu Kaal, Yamaganda, Gulika, Abhijit and the choghadiya — and the day's tārā for a birth star.
Festivals ahead
festivals — Hindu festivals and fasts in the coming week or month, dated by the tithi at sunrise.

Your own account, if you want it
A second address, https://kundaly.com/mcp/account, links your Kundaly account. Your assistant sends you to kundaly.com, where you sign in and choose Allow. It then has the free tools plus:
My saved charts
my_charts — The charts saved in your Kundaly account — name, birth star, Moon sign, ascendant — and your credit balance.
My month
my_month — The monthly forecast for one of your own charts, from its birth star and ascendant. Free, as the pages are.
Ask the Guru
ask_guru — The Guru's answer about your chart, with its reasoning and the school it follows — the same as in the app. It spends your own Kundaly credits at the app's price, and they come back if no answer is given.
A linked assistant can't see your conversations in the app, change your account or buy credits. Remove it any time in the app: Data & privacy → Connected assistants.
What it keeps, and its limits
Your birth details
The free tools use a birth date, place and time to answer that one question. They are not stored or logged. The place name is looked up with OpenStreetMap to find its coordinates.

Readings are classical astrology, computed and cited — never a prediction of death, illness, lifespan or money. See Trust & safety.
Fair use
Assistants call from their providers' servers, so there are limits: calls an hour from each address, and a daily budget for each tool. When one is reached the tool says so and points to kundaly.com.
