Free astrocartography map: enter your birth date, time and place to see where each planet's lines cross the world — the cities on your Venus, Jupiter, Sun and Moon lines, and what each line colours: career, home, relationships and self.

What the four lines mean

Astrocartography (astro-cartography, or an astrology map) redraws your birth chart over the world. For each planet it finds the places where, at the minute you were born, that planet stood on one of the chart's four angles:

  • MC — Midheaven: the planet overhead. Career, reputation and public life take on its colour there.
  • IC — the lower heaven: the planet underfoot. Home, roots and private life.
  • ASC — rising: the planet on the eastern horizon. How you come across, your energy and presence.
  • DSC — setting: the planet on the western horizon. Partnerships and the people you meet.

A line is felt most within a few hundred kilometres of it. Venus lines are read for love and ease, Jupiter for growth and opportunity, Sun for being seen, Moon for belonging, Mercury for study and trade, Mars for drive, Saturn for discipline and long work, and Uranus, Neptune and Pluto for change, imagination and transformation.

Why the birth time matters

The angles turn a full circle every day, about one degree every four minutes — so a birth time off by ten minutes moves every line by roughly 250 km. Use the time on your birth certificate if you have it.

Western and Vedic

The lines are the same in both traditions — they come from where each planet stood in the sky, not from a sign. The app adds the Vedic reading: which planets rule your career, home or marriage in your own sidereal chart, and the rising sign you would have in each city.
